Preschool Pediatrics is a primary care clinic. We do not have the resources to provide Urgent or Emergent medical care. That being said, we aim to offer urgent medical assessments as needed to our patient population. If you have an appointment but no longer need it, please call to cancel as soon as possible to allow the space for another child. Some medical concerns are better suited at more specialized centres.

Children’s Emergency:

• Concerns regarding difficulty breathing

• Major trauma

• Severe head injury

• Cuts that may require stitches

• Severe bleeding

• Change in mental status / level of consciousness

• Severe dehydration

• Potential broken bones

• Burns

• Fever (>38C) in an infant less than 6 weeks old

• Foreign body in eyes, ears, throat

Urgent Care Centres:

• Cuts that may require stitches

• Minor head injury

• Minor burns

• Foreign body in eyes, ears, throat

• Potential broken bones
